Art has always been part of who I am. Paintings, sketches, handmade gifts, homemade birthday cards. Creating has been my way of being in the world for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are filled with paint-streaked fingers and paper taped to every surface. Even now, I keep returning to art, especially watercolor, like a familiar place I love coming home to. 

Love Lyss started with a stack of small paintings I made just for the joy of it. I turned them into cards and gave them away. Watching someone light up when they realized I’d made the card myself, that's what made it stick. 

I find joy in the small things. I keep every card I’ve ever been given. Thoughtful gifts are my favorite kind. They’re proof that even a small gesture can mean a lot. I believe there’s beauty in almost everything if you look closely enough. 

Love Lyss is just the beginning. It’s a way of sharing my work, following the dreams my younger self held onto, and making things I’m proud to put into the world.
